Organization

A. D. Tupper & Associates Limited was incorporated under the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia in 1975, and provides forensic engineering services to insurers, law firms, government agencies, and individual and corporate clients. The company is registered to practice professional engineering in the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador. 

The non-public company is headed by a professional engineer, Allison D. Tupper, P. Eng., CFEI, and has a fulltime support staff. Associate arrangements with various engineers, technicians, and testing facilities provide additional expertise on a case by case basis. 

Company History

A. D. Tupper & Associates Limited has participated in over 1,200 engineering investigations concerning such casualties as construction problems, fires, explosions, furnace and boiler operations, pellet stoves, motor vehicle accidents, crane collapses, bridge collapses, heavy equipment failures, building problems, pollution problems, et cetera, as well as mechanical reliability and safety of public installations, machinery, equipment, and automotive components, including tires and seat belts. The company has taken part in testing and certification programmes for appliances, and audit and certification of industrial plants, as well as assessment, appraisal and certification of heavy equipment and industrial machinery.
